Meet Kristin
Experienced Care, Rooted in Family and Gentle Therapy
Hi, I’m Dr. Kristin Ewertz, PT, DPT. I’ve been practicing physical therapy for over 15 years and earned my Doctorate from Wichita State University. As a mother of five, I take a family-centered, holistic approach to care—using gentle, hands-on therapy to support growth, development, and overall well-being.
My work is shaped by a special interest in how the nervous system, breathing, sleep, and oral function influence pediatric development.
Our Values
The Principles That Guide Our Care
Our values shape every interaction, treatment plan, and partnership with families. At Kristin Ewertz Physical Therapy, we believe meaningful progress happens when care is thoughtful, gentle, and centered on the unique needs of each child and family.
Gentle, Respectful Care
We honor each child’s comfort and nervous system by using calm, hands-on techniques tailored to their individual needs.
Family
Partnership
Parents are an essential part of the care team, and we work collaboratively to support progress at home and beyond each session.
Whole-Body
Approach
We consider how movement, feeding, breathing, sleep, and the nervous system work together to support healthy development.
Individualized Treatment
No two children are the same, which is why every plan of care is customized to support your child’s specific goals and development.
Early Support,
Lasting Impact
We believe early, thoughtful intervention can create a strong foundation for lifelong movement and well-being.
Collaboration
Care That Works Better Together
I believe collaboration is a critical part piece of the wellness journey. I work with many providers in the Wichita and surrounding areas, such as, pediatricians, pediatric dentists, midwives, doulas, IBCLCs, OTs, Chiro, SLPs, and more
